| Data Management & Presentation
Technology, when used appropriately, can improve many aspects of environmental projects
• Improve quality and reduce errors
• Shorten schedules
• Reduce costs
• Provide more user-friendly results
To this end, Terraine endeavors to deliver to the client a product that combines technology, current data collection methods and rigorous thinking. We have delevoped a centralized, searchable and sortable repository of data for our projects that enables us to perform tasks that historically take many hours of labor. We have built custom routines that allow us to create electronic data deliverables (EDDs) in EQuIS™-compatible format, import and maintain a large image database with client-specific output routines or query specific wells in our database for historical information.
Our employees use project collaboration tools, such as Groove and Creative Manager, to collaborate jointly on client deliverables and other functions, such as virtual meetings and paperless form processing. We also use these tools to co-edit documents concurrently with other firms.
At Terraine, we employ the use of industry-standard software and methods for data analysis (Surfer, Canvas, Microstation, etc.). We understand the difference between static and dynamic visualization methods and the benefits each has to the intrepretation and understanding of subsurface processes and contaminant trends. We work with each client to ensure that our deliverables are exactly what the client needs, from standard tag maps to highly visual and interactive graphics. We can include these graphics in any number of formats and deliver them to you in hard copies, or even embed them directly into PDF documents.
